Our Products

Are the ingredients organic?

We only use the best quality, completely natural ingredients in all our products. The majority of ingredients are organic. Occasionally we cannot get hold of a product in its organic form, so we have to find the best alternative. Remember things like Rose Hydrolat (Rose water) cannot be 100% organic as water is not classed as ‘organic.’ Therefore, the Rose is organic but in the case of Rose Hydrolat, not the water. But, in the main, Love Anousta uses organic products wherever possible.

Do the products contain any chemicals?

Mostly, they are 100% natural, derived from plants and flowers. Base ingredients for shampoo and shower gels are made by man but derived from things like sugar beet and coconut by-products. This means they may not be described as organic but are constructed from natural products.

Any product that has water in it will go off within 30 days, therefore a preservative must be used. Love Anousta uses preservative at only 0.5% (one of the lowest in the industry) and all preservatives are paraben free.

Do the products contain any essential oils?

Some of our products are created with organic essential oils chosen for their healing and soothing properties. Others are completely gentle, fragrance and essential oil-free. Please check the product ingredients for each item to see what they contain. If you are unsure what you should use, please ask us; text, call or email and we will reply as soon as possible.

How quickly should I expect to see results?

It all depends on your age, your skin’s current condition and whether you struggle with a specific issue. You may see results within a couple of days, sometimes it can take six to eight weeks to see a change. It’s best to contact us and we can help you.

I have eczema. Which products are best for me?

It depends on whether you have dry eczema or wet eczema. Please read the product descriptions on this page, which should give you all the information you need. If you would prefer to discuss your eczema with us, we offer free 30-minute consultations. However, getting the history and background of a customer and their eczema, then working out how to move forward with changes in diet, the use of silver-based products and other solutions can take much longer than 30 minutes. You may need a full consultation which is up to an hour. This gives time to cover a lot of ground and to help you choose the right path. A full consultation costs £45 but any products bought as a result of this consultation are sent with free postage.

I have acne. Which product should I use?

Different types of acne require different products and skin care routines. Is it acne vulgaris (teenage acne with spots and redness) or acne rosacea (more often associated with red butterfly markings on the face, forehead and chin on older people, usually ladies)? It’s best to have a quick free chat to be sure first.

Buying our products

Can I return my product if I’m not happy?

If you are unsatisfied with any of our products, you can return them for a full refund. However, our customers do tend to find our products work really well so we are pretty sure you won’t be returning them.

Do you offer free postage?

Delivery within the UK for orders under £50.00 – £4.99

Delivery to an address in the UK for orders of £50.00 and over – FREE!

How quickly are products sent out?

We endeavour to send out all orders within three to four working days. Orders received on Friday after 12 midday and on Saturday or Sunday will be sent out on the following Monday. Orders are generally sent out by 2nd-class Royal Mail, and if they are urgent, we can send them by 1st class if requested.

Parcels over 2 kg in weight or that need a higher insurance level to be paid tend to be sent out using a variety of couriers. We hope that these parcels arrive within 24 to 48 hours but if you have not received your parcel within six days, we do ask that you contact us immediately.

If no one is at home to receive parcels, we do request that you offer a dry place to store your parcel in the grounds of your home or garden until your return. Alternatively, a named neighbour can take the parcel in for you.

Can you package them as a gift?

Each product is beautifully packaged, and we even send a little extra gift out here and there! If you would like gift wrapping, please contact us and let us know.

Do you send products to the US and Canada?

Unfortunately, our insurance policy does not allow us to send products to the US or Canada any longer.

Do you send products to Europe?

Rarely, but we can do. Since Brexit, postage charges have rocketed and postage times are lengthy. If required, we will speak on the phone and find a postage cost first to see if you still wish us to post to you in Europe.

Do you send products to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and islands?

Yes! In some cases, postage is more as we get charged a lot more to send to remote places, such as the Scottish islands. We will let you know if we are forced to charge more.
